What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which let a site remember information in your browser without sending it to a server. We use the word "cookies" in this policy to cover all of these.
This policy should be read together with our Privacy policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly. Cookies on this site never contain your health information.
Categories we use
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work: keeping you signed in during a request, remembering your cookie choice, and protecting forms from abuse. These cannot be switched off.
- Preferences. Remember choices such as the page you started a request from so we can bring you back to it. No tracking across sites.
- Analytics (optional). Help us understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are most useful and where people get stuck. Analytics only runs after you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner. Analytics data is aggregated and never linked to your clinical record.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Third parties
Our payment provider and video-consultation provider may set their own strictly necessary cookies during a payment or a consult. These are governed by those providers' privacy policies and are used only to deliver the service you have requested.
Managing your choice
You can change your analytics choice at any time using the button below or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings; if you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy at least every 12 months and whenever we add or remove a cookie. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last updated.
