Short answer

After you submit, an AHPRA-registered Australian doctor reviews your request — usually within the hour during service hours. They may contact you for more detail. Certificates and documents are emailed to you and saved in your dashboard; doctor consults happen by video or phone at the next available time.

The doctor review

The doctor reads your answers and decides whether the request can be handled safely by telehealth. They may ask follow-up questions or arrange a call.

How you receive documents

Certificates are emailed as a PDF and stay available in your dashboard. Each carries a verification ID your employer can check on the verification page.

If telehealth isn't suitable

The doctor will tell you plainly and suggest where to go instead. You're not charged for a request the doctor can't provide. See when you need an in-person doctor.
